Many of water towers especially as huge, unique and as tall as this could be very hard to maintain and the materials that was used to build this wonder is not immune to the natural effect of depreciation.

Almost 50 years after the creation of The World’s Largest Water Bottle, that was 1995,  this iconic landmark roadside attraction was supposed to be demolished due to depreciation, but by the consistent hard work of the Catsup Bottle Preservation Group, fortunately, it was beautifully restored to its original appearance.

This unique and grand piece of roadside attraction is architecture at its best, and it continues to be that, thanks to the people make efforts to preserve such attractions. Now it is an excellent example all over the world of 20th century roadside Americana.

It’s Official!

By August of 2002, The World’s Largest Water Bottle was named to the National Register of Historic Places.
